Took me a while to get it finished had a lot of other work to do in it and also it was my first animation with a Character  running.

Storyboard

Well I said I would do it. And I made a storyboard for my animation.

Its not much and the idea was simple but I thought I would get started in it and start doing it for all of my animations.

so check it out not much but it was some help to get the idea out on paper and think of how it was going to play out.

I wll post the animation up later for you guys to take a look at it.

Drawing

Well I am getting back into drawing.  Making little doodles here and there.  Think I found a little guy that I can call my own.  I find that making little drawings keeps my creative flow going and helps me just with drawing period. So I am going to do with and also pick something else up that I want to start doing.

Doing video shoots for my animation so I have something to go off of.  It is great to have and will help me a lot with my animations.  I also need to do little story boards and thumb nails of what I am going to animation so I can plan it out.  A lof of this tips came from here.

Dreamworks Animation!

Well what can I say. I and about 20 others went to Dreamworks Animation and it was great.

I felt like a little kid and at the same time I felt I knew a lot of how it works out there. It was so much and I just wanted to drink all the freeze I could take cuz you get those free when you work there. The Studio was top of the line And they had a huge pond with koi in it and they also had the Dreamworks logo made out of a bush. They also had Po from Kung Fu Panda standing about 10 feet tall in there lobby.

So it was a lot and we got to see a few things of there up coming flicks. Like Monsters Vs. Aliens, How to Train a Dragon, and Shrek Goes Forth! It was amazing! But enough of all that. Where foes God fit into this all.

Well when we were at Morro Bay. I asked a few questions and that was before I knew we were going to Dreamworks. I asked: where am I going with this 3D stuff?do I need to come out to LA? Is Dreamworks a place to go?

Those were a few. And God answered everyone of them when I found out we were going to Dreamworks and when we were at Dreamworks. God showed me yes 3D is for you Mike. And Animation is what you need to put your soul into. And he said yes to LA and way yes to Dreamworks.
And I was like how does God do that I wasn’t really looking for an answer soon but it was bam bam BAM!

The reason why we got to go was Alex’s aunt. She works there as a Layout Desinger. And it was great what she had to share. And she was a big part of what God had to say to me. She hit many things that answered my questions and it was great to talk with a 3D person in the biz. She also hooked us up with an Animator that has worked on The Bee Movie and Monsters vs Aliens. It was great to hear from him and here about animation my biggest passion. God showed me many thing in only a few hours and I was all ears.

To say the least I think I know where I am going but I still have a lot of work todo and I still have a journy I need to take I think before I find my self in Dreamworks.

I learned a lot this time around and it was a lot of fun.  A lot of long hours but the Lord got me through it.  It was amazing what CCM pushed out this year and I know kids were changed by what we did because of the stories I have heard and plus I went to Amherst, Mass for the first ATF.

I also did interviews there and heard from kids and parents and youth pastros.  I also did interviews with Ron Luce after the ATF and got to here how they were impacted by what Ron had to say.

It was great to see God move in so many people and continue to pray for me and everyone here at CCM.

Also if you could be a pal and donate me some money that would be great.  I am running low on my funds and I know you might be freaking out because of all the stuff going on but God will always be there for you.

NEW NEW NEW

Alright here is a new post.

I have been quite busy these past few weeks here at CCM.

We just got the new class in and we all have new projects.  The new class is great and they are really jumping in and getting to work.  I so glad when gauntlet was over so they could all get to work.  These past few weeks have been great and have been very very busy.  Also with the new class coming in I have been made a PA which is a small group leader.  I have three new guys in my group and two guys that I am good friends with.  So it have been fun so far, I just have to do even more being a PA but I will be doing a lot more when I have kids right?!  Well I have a bit for that.

I am also working on three projects for the ATF tour this year and I am sure I will be doing more stuff here and there.  Two of them are news things and the other is Message GFX for Ron.  It was been fun and it has been busy but I am all for it and I can’t wait to see everyone’s work when we are done with it.

Keep praying for me as this year holds a lot for me.
